The QMRCC Anniversary Championships and WMCR speed event was held over the weekend and the results are attached, together with the updated QMRCC Club Championships standings.
The race gods weren’t smiling on too many of us and there was a general lack of super-fast speeds… except for Geoff Offer’s new Australian record in Class III (3.5 cc A Grade) with a new high water mark of 280.855 km/hr. Congratulations to Geoff!
Kevin Harvey continued his run of good form taking out 5 cc B Grade, 3.5 cc M Class as well as the nominated speed event! (Three from three is going to be hard to top next time Kevin!)
Thanks to John Ford and Shane Johnson for the barbeque lunch, and to all those who assisted with timekeeping, horsing, cable marshalling etc.
Next up is the MacPherson nominated speed trophy on August 19th.
See you then!
Cheers,
Scott Clydesdale
